  3. Most definitely one of my favorite. I taught for over forty years and believe that books can change the course of a life. I spent many hours at our local library as I was a latch key kid many moons ago. However, the library was my paradise and safe haven. Lucky for me I had the best literature at my disposal. Thanks for stopping by Poemattic.

  6. You had me at the fact that you quoted Borges, one of my favorites. Have you read any Calvino? He’s sort of along the same lines, though his stories are a bit more of the whimsical side, though with a melancholic element. I think you’d enjoy. I look forward to reading more of these wonderful quotes. 🙂
