  1. I tried to like but it just kept on loading. I just want to thank you for this post and what you are doing here. Keep the good work coming!!! Love, Amy <3

  2. Thank you for stopping by my blog, I also love quotes and you have found some great ones πŸ™‚

  3. Very nice, once again! Ben Franklin’s Almanac was a good use of time, and hilarious! We wonder about Lao Tzu’s saying the other day, because we so often must say we do not have time. Time bein’ money, the poor have none! But having money takes so much time, one would wish again for the simplicity of poverty! It is in part about efficiency and in part about priorities. 4. P. S., my favorite is the Bill Keane, “that’s why its called the present,” and the Einstein, “so everything doesn’t happen at once!” It is indeed very odd that we happen just now to be here alive at this time. People think it a crisis when the gift ends, but the truth is we cannot possibly appreciate the marvel that we and this are here now at all! So it is said, “He came up out of the water laughing.”

  5. I like this one:
β€œThe trouble is, you think you have time.” ― Gautama Buddha
Not sure though whether it is from Buddha (the internet says so).

  6. Thank you for your post and for liking my poem. I think it is important to be aware of our own perception of time as it can often put us under unnecessary pressure. Some of the best times are when experiencing flow … when enjoying something on our own and getting so lost in it that time almost seems to stand still. When it ends, you feel as if you have been away somewhere and are totally relaxed. I like Albert Einstein’s – ‘the only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once’. Never heard that one before.

  7. I’ll put in my two cents along with the main quote:

“The universe puts us in places where we can learn. They’re never easy places, but they are right. Where every we are is the right place and the right time. The Pain that sometimes comes, it is part of the process of constantly being born.” – jms, Babylon 5

  8. Great compilation! Another (many) I could add to the list is the book, The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom. Great read, and so quotable!
