What is Fear

Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm. Fear always makes it difficult for us to take bold and important decisions in life. We can overcome the feeling of fear by doing the things which scare us in life. Fear may occur in response to a specific stimulus happening in the present, or to a future situation, which is perceived as risk to health or life, status, power, security, or, in the case of humans, wealth or anything held valuable.

Below is a list of Inspirational Fear quotes, which i have collected from various sources. Let us know what is your opinion on fear and this post.

The latter can be reinforced, except where immediate action is necessary, by turning our thoughts away from the cause of fear. The conquest of fear is of very great importance. Fear is in itself degrading; it easily becomes an obsession; it produces hate of that which is feared, and it leads headlong to excesses of cruelty. 10. Great post, thanks for taking the time to put these quotes up. Timely reminder.

I fear loss of control. I have a tendency to compartmentalise everything in my life into neat little arrangements. Why? Because I am petrified of the ‘unknown’.

And because life is pretty neat at throwing a spanner in the works, the spanner was my partner of 15 years walking out on the family unit. So I have had to live with the ‘unknown’ for two months. It was difficult to begin with & the emotions surrounding it petrified me, but two months on, I am really enjoying my freedom to explore who I am really am.

I think we create this idea (well I do anyway) that things are worse than what they really are so we stop in front of the headlights paralysed with fear, not being able to move forward …. facing your fear(s) gives you the courage to live.
